Fas Lebbie
Transdisciplinary Design (MFA), Parsons School of Design
I am a user experience, product designer and social entrepreneur currently living in the Salt Lake City area working as a freelance Product and interaction designer. My background is UX design, research, and Innovation with a focus on Product and Social Entrepreneurship.
Through my experiences as a designer, I have continually tried to explore challenges that cut across disciplinary boundaries. Boundaries that go beyond Entrepreneurship and look for opportunities on social systemic issues for design to intervene.
A year ago, I founded Thought Cab design, a design agency in downtown Salt Lake City where I lead as a Creative Director role. Aside from freelance, I also founded FasProject.org, a non-profit that provide educational needs and improve sustainability and economic development for orphans in Africa.
When not thinking about how design can negotiate and facilitate change in our world, I indulge in reading, writing, soccer, surfing, and world traveling. I am currently finalizing my editorial phase to publish my first book called – Souvenirs of My Awakening.
