Leading Global Creative Content creation, Sandra manages a team of creatives of producers, graphic designers, digital storytellers, multimedia managers and writers. Her team acts as an ecosystem business, where content is developed on the basis of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and co-created with customers and partners, to drive adoption of SAP Products. At home Sandra is a proud Chief Mommy Officer who loves to cook, hike, travel and spend time with family and loved ones. In her spare time, she dedicates her time volunteering for causes impacting the lives of children and orphans.
Why did you choose to have a career in the impact space? Why is it important?
I have always been drawn to impact topics such as social responsibility, circularity and climate action, and have always sought to bridge my personal values to my day-to-day work. My official role around purpose and sustainability was not properly formalized until 3 years into my career at SAP, even though it was something I was clearly prioritizing in my work.
What is one piece of advice you’d give to an impact entrepreneur?
Staying authentic to yourself and your values. Many stakeholders will try to influence you in different directions, but as an impact entrepreneur you have crystal clear values, so make sure you stick to them, and don’t compromise.
Do you think having mentors is important? How do you approach mentoring others?
Absolutely. And even better if you can evolve your mentors into sponsors of your work.
