She has worked as a healthcare advocate, before deciding to forgo a successful career in public health to become a writer and playwright. Leslie’s work explores human relationships and how they are impacted by race, religion and social economic status.

Learning strategies and concepts to secure capital and changing society’s misconception that incarcerated individuals are no longer viable contributors or beneficial to their society.
