Summary:

I made a career teaching ESL students how to speak ‘my’ language. Yet, after 6 years living in Zurich (the German speaking canton of Switzerland), I still could not really speak theirs. Determined to change, I switched roles and went from being a language teacher to a language learner. In doing so, my perspectives and approach to teaching changed. This webinar presents what I learnt.
