Emely Salazar Perez is an Immigrant Affairs Coordinator for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in the Financial Frauds Bureau. She is working specifically for the immigrant affairs unit, which is in charge of tackling fraud cases relating to our immigrant community. Common scams that are tackled by our unit are individuals who pretend to be ICE agents, individuals who provide immigration services pretending to be attorneys and many more.
