David Sheinin is Professor of History at Trent University in Canada and Académico Correspondiente of the Academia Nacional de la Historia de la República Argentina.  David is the winner of the 2013 Whitaker Prize from the Middle Atlantic Council of Latin American Studies for his book “Consent of the Damned” (Gainesville, 2012).  He is the co-editor of the University of Georgia Press book series “The United States and the Americas.”
