Rev. Dr. Robin Hoover holds a Masters of Divinity in Social Ethics and a PhD in Political Science. He has produced extensive research on immigration policy during the last 20 years. Hoover is the founder of several nonprofits; most notably Humane Borders, Inc., which mission is to reduce the number of deaths in the Arizona desert. He is working on Proyecto Rescatame! that uses satellite-based technology to rescue immigrants. He was awarded the Premio Nacional de Derechos Humanos in Mexico in 2006. He is the only non-Mexican to have received such prestigious award.
Keisdo Shimabukuro and Omar Iturbe are the producers of the documentary film Entre Serpientes y Escaleras-Missing People that reveals the story of the thousands of immigrants who were dissapeared in Mexican territory.
