Scholarship Tips:
When you use external scholarship databases, like Scholly, Unigo, Fastweb and Cappex (among many others), use these tips to improve your experience:
- Remember to narrow your search terms
- Be specific as you can about your personal “identifiers”, including things like what your major is, what your interests are, your background, whether you’re an international student, what year in college you are in, if you’re an undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate, etc.
- Update your “identifiers” as you progress through your education
- If the link to a scholarship doesn’t work, try searching for it on Google; the organization might have changed the link without updating the database.
- “Un-check” box which gives your approval for the site sharing information with affiliate partners
