Student Assistant/Graphic Designer Position Available at the School of Media Studies

The School of Media Studies is looking for an experienced, reliable and talented student graphic designer to assist with the creation of print, web-based and archive materials. The candidate will need to work with the School of Media Studies staff to design creative pieces that help convey messaging around SMS events and activities.

The School of Media Studies offers the opportunity to build your portfolio and work in a fun and fast-paced educational environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Must be an active graduate student
Availability to work in our 79 5th Avenue office for up to 10-15 hours per week during assigned project periods to end of the academic year
Advanced experience with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Exceptional knowledge of typography, layout, color, grid systems and visual communication, with particular emphasis on informational design incorporating large amounts of text

$15/hr – Position beginning in August 2018
