The Filmmakers of The Year Film Festival (FYFF) was established to celebrate filmmaking in general. Our main mission is to honor and promote films that have won awards and at excellent quality carrying unique methods of storytelling, produced with exceptional technique and crafted with passion and love for the betterment of filmmaking.

We receive submissions from all over the world. The festival accepts feature and short film, and documentary (any length), and we welcome ambitious newcomers to star their excellent films. The festival appreciates all the hard work every department contributes to making a film. With an all-in-one package, juries of the festival will value various performances such as directing, cinematography, editing, performance, story, acting, sound, production design, costume design, music, etc. The festival would give separate awards if they got selected.

Our prominent festival group past winners include seasoned filmmakers, the actor that has won the Academy Award, to new filmmakers with such great potential. We conduct a press conference, awards ceremony, a workshop, and many films are screened. Working together with the largest Indonesian cinema network, several private foundations and international culture centers, and having good connection with influential members of high-ranking society, the festival has managed to conduct yearly outstanding awards ceremony attended by kings, sultans, queen, ministers, senators, parliament members, notable guests, artists, international celebrities, local celebrities and leading newspapers.

Filmmakers of the Year Film Festival (FYFF) will give awards for the overall winner as Filmmaker of the Year 2018. Filmmaker of the Year Platinum Award, Filmmaker of the Year Gold Award, or Filmmaker of the Year Silver Award will be also granted to the winners.
