NYC Village Halloween Parade March-Along on Oct 31st
Hello Media Management students,
Hope you are all gearing up for the second half of the semester. Now that midterms are over, you may be ready for some Halloween fun!
In the Student Experience surveys I conduct every semester and the recent Coffee with the Director sessions, you have suggested we find more ways to engage as a Media Management community. Recommendations included on-site tours to media organizations, industry networking opportunities, meet-ups with current MM students and grads, MM course events, the creation of topic-specific gatherings and fun ways to explore NYC together. You’ll be pleased to know planning is in the works on all of the above.
Your fellow Media Management classmate, Natalie Kucer will be spearheading this initiative, as our newly minted Media Management Community Engagement Manager. Our kick-off event is the 45th Annual NYC VILLAGE HALLOWEEN PARADE MARCH-ALONG on Oct 31st.
If you never have experienced the NYC Village Halloween parade festivities or are a regular attendee every year – come to join the MM Crew as we the walk alongside the floats and colorful characters that make it “The nation’s most wildly creative public participatory event in the greatest city in the world!” You may even be part of the NY1 live parade news coverage!
