CASTING OFFICE – FILM/ADVERTISING/RESEARCH – INTERNSHIP
JV8 INC is a casting agency that casts actors, real people and models for film, television and advertising projects
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in film, casting, journalism, pop culture, humans and discovering new talent. Internship starts in late Aug 2019- Feb (to be discussed).
INTERN’S RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
– Researching actors, real people and stories
– Researching locations, resources and events for scouting
– Assisting during casting sessions and callbacks
– archiving data and media
– Communicating with talent and agencies
– Street scouting
-social media
QUALIFICATIONS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:
– Must be professional, committed and organized
– Must have excellent research skills
– Must have knowledge of social media, basic digital photography and video
– Knowledge of actors & pop culture a plus
– Knowledge of editing programs such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut a plus
FOR CONSIDERATION:
– You must be able to work 2 days a week (3-6 month commitment depending avail)
– Our hours are Mon-Fri 9:30 AM — 6:30 PM (vary with project)
