  • 4– 7pm  Happy Hour at the bar!
  • 4:30–6pm – Heidi Clark and the Troubadours play classic jazz with vocal harmonies.
  • 5pm & 6:30pm – A program of short, experimental films curated by theMaysles Documentary Center.
  • 6–7pm – Poetry readings and performances curated by The Poetry Project. Hosted by Pamela Sneed and featuring Brenda CoultasJohn Godfrey, Andriniki Mattis, Jayson P. Smith, and Morgan Vo.

SUNDAY EVENTS

All events are free with Museum admission! Join us for a day of family fun with interactive performances, poetry writing, and art making. These activities are designed to get you thinking and moving freely in spaces that reflect the heyday of the Village, from the art studio to the coffee shop to the park!

  • 10am–6pm – Browse the Makers’ Market featuring arts, crafts, and food.
  • 11am–3pm  Take part in art-making activities based on happenings popular in the 1960s.
  • 11am–3pm – Join a scavenger hunt in The Voice of the Village: Photographs by Fred W. McDarrah
  • 11:30am, 12pm, & 12:30pm – Josh Levine and Vanisha Gould perform international folk favorites.
  • 1:15–2pm & 2:15–3pm – Naomi Extra leads two 45-minute poetry writing workshops based on Shel Silverstein’s Where the Sidewalk Ends. (With free hot chocolate!)
