Position Summary

Are you a social media leader who can deliver on business objectives? A data-driven content marketer who understands the modern media landscape and how distribution channels fit together to drive outcomes? SiriusXM is looking for a Director of Audience Engagement to lead social media strategy and execution for SiriusXM brand and key radio channels. You will lead the daily conversation with SiriusXM fans across social media platforms; drive the development, execution and measurement of content; and evangelize that success throughout the organization. You will partner with the Director of Digital Content and Vice President of Video Marketing on the creation of social content, balancing performance data with audience behaviors and content priorities, and act as a center of excellence for social media across the organization. We are seeking candidates with deep expertise, who can bring a sophisticated approach to social media, content creation, and digital marketing, with a strong understanding of how the digital ecosystem supports overall business and marketing objectives. Reporting to the VP of Digital Content, the responsibilities of the Director of Audience Engagement will include;

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Social Media Strategy: Define and evangelize SiriusXM’s data-driven social media strategy with both internal and external partners
  • Content Development: Lead the ideation and development of original content targeted for social distribution
  • Content Distribution: Define and deliver on wider content marketing strategies across the SiriusXM ecosystem
  • Paid Media Execution: Lead paid media efforts to boost content across social platforms and deliver on KPIs
  • Thought Leadership: Generate all team communications/reports/strategy documents and contribute to overall marketing strategy as the social media expert
  • Analytics & Reporting Management: Develop core social media KPIs and deliver reporting and insights to impact strategies
  • Digital Industry Relations: Serve as liaison to key social media platforms/partners and educate wider company on best practices and opportunities
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrate content expertise while collaborating with members of the programming, marketing, communications, creative, and legal teams
  • Team Management: Mentor, manage and develop a growing social media team
