
FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Women’s International Study Center
Apply for a Women’s International Study Center (WISC) Fellowship!

Writers, artists, scholars, professionals, innovators, and entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply. WISC seeks proposals aligned with our focus areas, broadly defined as the arts, sciences, cultural preservation, business, and philanthropy. Everyone is welcome at WISC to pursue work relevant to the interests and experiences of women. Fellowships include a stipend.
We welcome applications from individuals or groups needing a place to work creatively or on a publication; scholars with research interests in a local archive or collection; project developers seeking a space to create a program or proposal; others whose work relates to advancing scholarship and awareness of women’s achievements in WISC’s focus areas. Please see the list of past WISC Fellows for ideas of the breadth of past topics WISC has accepted.
Our Fall review period begins January 1, 2023. Any applications submitted after 12:00AM MST on this date will be reviewed during the next review period, beginning March 1, 2023.
Fellows share space in a private residence in historic Santa Fe, NM. Housing includes a private bedroom with a desk, private bathrooms, commonspace for meeting, and access to a wireless network and printer. An art studio is available for artists.
