EVENT: Learn more about Fall 2023 CareLab Course at the Parsons School of Design Strategies Online Information Session
Join faculty Michele Kahane, Laura Nova, and Masoom Moitra from the Parsons School of Design Strategies (SDS) for an information session about the Fall 2023 CareLab course.
With all the changes happening around us, we must ask, “How can we make caring for people a priority in society?” Evolving social norms, demographic changes, political and racial unrest, and health and climate disasters require reimagining how we care for each other. During the Fall 2023 semester, using community-engaged design, storytelling, futures thinking, and social practice art, we will prototype strategic interventions and engage with communities in different neighborhoods of NYC to reimagine social relations and infrastructures that promote collective wellness, mutualism, and inclusion.
