Application for The Sinha Memorial Fellowship in Media Studies
Applications are open to continuing M.A. students in Media Studies for this recently-instituted fellowship in the amount of $5,100 for the academic year 2023-24.
The selected student will have demonstrated excellence in the program so far, and have a strong interest in critical or creative media research in the area of digital media studies, with particular relevance for innovative thinking on the linkages between media and migration. Web-based skills include: familiarity with WordPress, proficiency with HTML/Javascript; preferred are design capabilities such as video editing, animation and VR.
The selected student will be responsible for research and maintenance of the Media and Migration Project (migrationmapping.org and m2lab.net) and will be working remotely [ADD] with Prof. Sumita Chakravarty and under the general supervision of Prof. Hanna or Prof. Scannell.
