OPPORTUNITY: Kwanzaa Film Festival 2023
The seventh annual Kwanzaa Film Festival will occur at the end of the year, on December 26th!
Kwanzaa Film Festival discovers and develops independent filmmakers who support principles of unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith.
The committee accepts films in the following categories:
- Short narrative films by emerging directors
- Feature films by a Black writer or director, which express the empowerment of African American role models
- Short documentary films that educate and empower viewers
- Short student films
