New School Alumni Presents: Advance Screening of Hulu’s The Other Black Girl
Join The New School for an advanced screening of Hulu Original Series “The Other Black Girl,” adapted from the novel by Zakiya Dalila Harris, Creative Writing MFA ’16. Be among the first to see the first two episodes of this highly anticipated series, based on Harris’s novel.
Attendees will have the chance to meet and hear from Zakiya in conversation with fellow New Schooler Randy Winston, Director of Writing Programs at The Center for Fiction, to discuss the creative process, having a written work adapted to the screen, and their connection to the university and the Creative Writing MFA Program.
