OPPORTUNITY: FilmNorth Announces the Third Edition of its Inclusive and Socially Conscious Filmmaking Lab
The FilmNorth Inclusive and Socially Conscious Filmmaking Lab empowers participants to be a force for change. It focuses on the entire filmmaking process, from conception to finding an audience.
This free virtual six-week course is designed to help filmmakers at any stage of their career practice greater inclusive and socially responsible filmmaking and become leaders of change in the field. Ten participants are selected from a free, open call to take part!
Applications are open! The deadline to apply is 11:59 pm CST, Monday, September 11, 2023.
The Lab has six sessions that run from October 19-November 30. Past Labs have had participants from across the country, and prior mentors include Effie T. Brown, Adam Piron, Eugene Hernandez, Rhys Ernst, Justine Nagan, Ira Sachs, Leya Hale, Tessa Blake, Maria Raquel Bozzi, and more.
