Alum Carla Engelbrecht Creates New Social Media App, Featured in The Business Journals
Carla Engelbrecht, an alum of The New School’s Media Studies program, was featured in The Business Journals for her start-up Betweened, a family-friendly social media app.
As a parent, Engelbrecht was concerned with what her child saw on social media, so she set out to empower children and parents with a social media app that provides age-appropriate content and teaches them useful skills to navigate the digital landscape.
