Professor Melissa Friedling Published in Journal of Environmental Media

Dr. Melissa Friedling, Associate Professor of Filmmaking and director of MA, Media Studies, contributed an essay titled “The feral film habit of OJOBOCA” to a special issue on Cinezoonosis of the Journal of Environmental Media edited by Benjamín Schultz-Figueroa (MA, Media Studies ’11), Jaimie Baron and Priya Jaikumar. 

The essay focuses on films and adjacent performances by the Berlin-based filmmaking duo (and Media Studies alums) Anja Dornieden (MA, Media Studies ’09) and Juan David González Monroy (MA, Media Studies ’09), who together call themselves OJOBOCA.
