Melissa Gallardo (MA ’19) was featured on Good Morning America for her business Bonita Fierce Candles to celebrate National Small Business Week, presented by JP Morgan Chase & Co.

Bonita Fierce Candles has been a journey of love for Melissa. The premium candles represent the beautiful complexities of Latinx-American heritage and provide an aroma of familiarity and home with each scent. Melissa’s mission is to create that feeling of belonging and identity for other Latinas on journeys navigating language, culture, and heritage.
