Alum Shireen Khaled’s Short ‘In the Night’ Featured in Variety Magazine
Alum producer Shireen Khaled‘s (MA in Communication and Media Studies ‘24) with co-producer Rachel Barclay (MA in Communication and Media Studies ‘24) new short film, “In the Night”, was recently featured in Variety magazine.
“In the Night” is about a long-married couple who, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, realize they have suddenly fallen out of love and spend a night trying to rekindle the flame. Ansari-Cox stars opposite actor-singer-songwriter Jack O’Neill. The film premiered last month at the Beirut International Women’s Film Festival, where it scored the audience award.
