Tal S. Shamir Presents Seminar on Cinematic Philosophy and Visual Revolution at University of Barcelona
Adjunct faculty and RUFF CUTS & FINE CUTS producer Tal S. Shamir, PhD presented a 3-hour seminar and discussion at the University of Barcelona’s Visual Trust research center. The seminar titled “Cinematic Philosophy and The Visual Revolution” centered on why philosophy has always needed cinema and our transition to a visual-based society.
The conversation focused on elements from Tal’s “Cinematic Philosophy” book (by Palgrave Macmillan), and his upcoming short-form series “The Visual Revolution.”
