Mark Walton to Moderate ‘Show Me the Money: Advertising and Black Owned Media’ Panel at Black Media Symposium
Mark Walton, Associate Professor in Media Management is moderating a panel entitled, “Show Me the Money: Advertising and Black-Owned Media“, at Boston University’s Black Media Symposium on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
The panel will explore the issues behind why advertisers’ efforts are falling short, from scale challenges to programmatic advertising, and what can be done to correct the disparity in ad spend. Black Media: Pioneers Then and Now is a day-long symposium created to highlight Black media professionals and their innovative and important work in the journalism, PR, marketing, advertising, and film industries.
