Media Brand Management’24 Celebrates Halloween in a Unique Way

While New York City’s annual Village Halloween Parade marched through Manhattan’s West Village on Oct 31st, the Media Brand Management class taught by Linda Saint Marc got into the spirit of the day by dressing up as media brands.

Throughout the class session, students presented their brand briefs, offering in-depth analyses of some of the most beloved and influential media properties in the world. From iconic TV shows like “Wednesday” and “Bridgerton”, to global musical sensation Saint Levant and legendary band Metallica, the students showcased a diverse range of properties. Other notable brands explored included HYBE, Peanuts, The Simpsons, Stranger Things, NBC Sports, Laika Studios, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Toy Story—all brought to life in the form of creative costumes and brand presentations.

This engaging and imaginative classroom activity was a great way for students to fuse their understanding of media branding with the festive spirit of Halloween, while providing insightful analyses of major media properties that have made an impact across cultures and generations.
