The New School Celebrates Alumni Visionaries at 2024 City Visionary Awards
The New School hosted the 2024 City Visionary Awards, a prestigious event honoring groundbreaking leaders and changemakers. This year’s celebration will shine a spotlight on two distinguished alumni from the School of Public Engagement (SPE), highlighting their extraordinary contributions to media, arts, and education.
BK Fulton (MS ’91), a Milano alum and mentor for Media Studies, is a media mogul behind Broadway successes like The Outsiders, The Wiz, and The Piano Lesson. Wes Jackson (MA ’13), a Media Studies alum and president of BRIC, leads innovative arts and media projects in Brooklyn.
The City Visionary Awards took place on November 13, 2024, at ASPIRE at One World Observatory in New York City.
