Heightened Scrutiny Premieres at Sundance 2025

From Disclosure director and The New School alum Sam Feder, along with producer Amy Scholder, comes Heightened Scrutiny, a powerful new documentary premiering at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.

The film follows ACLU attorney Chase Strangio as he fights to overturn Tennessee’s ban on gender-affirming care for trans youth, exposing how mainstream media fuels anti-trans legislation. Featuring voices like Jelani Cobb, Lydia Polgreen, and Laverne Cox, Heightened Scrutiny dismantles disinformation and highlights its real-world impact.
