CFE: gnovis Journal
On behalf of the gnovis staff, we would like to remind you we are still accepting submissions for the Spring 2018 edition of gnovis journal. We’re delighted by the work we have received thus far, and encourage you to submit your original, graduate-level research to our journal. Please find our call for papers below.
gnovis Journal—Georgetown University’s student-operated, peer-reviewed, bi-annual academic journal of Communication, Culture & Technology—is now accepting submissions for our Spring 2018 edition. While we accept papers on a rolling basis, submissions for our print edition are open until Friday, February 2, 2018, at 11:59 p.m.
Papers and projects may address a wide range of subjects, including but not limited to: science and technology studies, cultural criticism, cultural identity and politics, traditional and new media, politics and government, art and technology, mediated communication and digital representation, and more.
All selected authors will receive a printed copy of the journal and be published online through Digital Georgetown.
Attached is our call for papers. Additional information regarding our submission guidelines can be found here: http://gnovisjournal.org/submission-guidelines/.
Additionally, gnovis also welcomes submissions for our online blog platform. In addition to our biannual printed journal, gnovis publishes blog content and digital/multimedia projects from a scholarly perspective. Scholars wishing to share their digital work with the gnovis community are encouraged to post them on Vimeo, YouTube, SlideShare, or other free services, then forward the URL and a short accompanying project statement to our staff.
If you have any questions, please contact us at gnovis@georgetown.edu.
