ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Documentary Cinema Grand Prix (DCGP) is a festival and award event. Its goal is to promote excellent documentaries for the growth of film industry.
We accept feature and short documentaries. Juries consist of professionals in relates to film industry will judge the quality of each submission carefully. Documentaries made with passion, excellent composition quality, heart-moving music, striking and outstanding images, and heart-tickling stories are qualities we are looking for and will stand out among others.
Students and newcomers are encouraged to participate in the festival to boost their reputation.
CATEGORIES OF SUBMISSION
SHORT DOCUMENTARY
Documentary film with a duration does not exceed 50 minutes.
FEATURE DOCUMENTARY
Documentary film with a duration does not exceed 120 minutes.
AWARDS & PRIZES
Awards are given based on categories of submissions and selections.
AWARDS CEREMONY
The yearly exquisite Awards Ceremony is planned to be held in Yogyakarta, famous for its traditional arts and cultural sites and heritage, including the Kraton of Yogyakarta, and two UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Prambanan Temple Compounds and the Borobudur Temple Compounds.
The Awards Ceremony will be exclusive and attended by kings and queens of Nusantara and sultans, in July 2018, and will be published internationally.
