Social Movements + Innovation Convening Sessions
The SMI Social Movements + Innovation, team wants to hear from our community both on campus and in the community about what is needed and wanted from a space like this. Come learn more about this project! We are hosting four gatherings (hopefully one of those times/days works for you schedule) on campus to listen and learn from New School students, faculty, staff and alumni about what is needed and desired from a “think and do tank” that can offer learning, practice, and innovation space for activists and movement leaders in collaboration with the university community. We welcome your thoughts and feedback as we dream big and out loud about what we can accomplish together!

Convening #2 Monday, October 8th from 10:00 – 11:30am Hirshon Suite (breakfast provided)
Convening #3 Thursday, October 25th from 10:00-11:30am, Wolff Conference Room (breakfast provided)
Convening #4 Tuesday, November 13 from 2:30-4:00pm, Wolff Conference Room (refreshments provided)
