Our FINAL Deadline for screenplay, teleplay, and stage play submissions is this Wednesday, May 15! And now, we’re offering a discount code for YOU!
Professors and instructors can use the code 19SCHOOL to take $10 off of a script submission. Students can save $10 off screenplay entries by submitting directly through www.austinfilmfestival.com and using the promo code 19STUDENT.
After submitting, students must email screenplay@austinfilmfestival.com and provide proof of current school enrollment.
Out of the many script competitions out there today, AFF is unique in that our competition provides many more opportunities and benefits for writers even if they do not progress through later rounds. This is why they call us “The Writers Festival.” We want to support writers at all stages of their career.
As such, all entrants receive FREE Reader Comments, a brief overall summary of their notes, and registration discounts to attend the annual Film Festival and Screenwriters Conference this October 24 – 31.
Second Rounders, Semifinalists, and Finalists attend exclusive panels, intimate roundtable discussions, script reading workshops, and are afforded special access to industry professionals.
Semifinalists and Finalists will have their scripts reviewed by our industry judges which include representatives from Warner Bros, Marvel, Energy Entertainment, Lit Entertainment, Paradigm, Nickelodeon, Escape Artists at Sony, CAA, and UTA and will also be included in our Annual Producer’s Book distributed to over 400 agents, managers, producers, and other industry professionals.
