Join us online or at UnionDocs’ new UNDO LEAN-TO to celebrate the launch of World Records newest volume: In the Presence of Others, edited by Jason Fox and Nicholas Gamso and published by UnionDocs. UnionDocs and the Vera List Center are inviting scholar Ariella Aïsha Azoulay, Vera List Center 2018-2020 Fellow Helene Kazan, and the artist/activists of MTL Collective (Nitasha Dhillon and Amin Husain) to present new work and engage with MTL Collective’s “Principles for Decolonial Film,” in order to examine film’s potential for what Azoulay has called “unlearning imperialism” in her recent book, Potential History: Unlearning Imperialism.
