Feilin Gao, MS Media Management ’20, was interviewed by podcast show RealRadio to talk about her multimedia project #freemask. As a journalist, artist, and activist, she summarized her motivation and methods to use photographs, performing art, and documentary to stand for antiracism and freedom of speech. #freemask brought up the collective experience and the communal struggles, fear, and resilience among Chinese people living overseas during the COVID-19 pandemic.
