Alum Mahdokht Mahmoudabadi’s Film ‘Three Promises’ Debuts at DOCNYC 2023

Mahdokht Mahmoudabadi, a Documentary and Media Studies alum, is debuting her feature film Three Promises at DOCNYC. 

The film follows Mohamed, who, after leaving home as a teenager, made three promises to his mother. The moment he broke one began his tumultuous coming of age abroad.
