Tal S. Shamir’s ‘A New York Covid Story’ to Screen at NY Shorts Festival

After a successful premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival, adjunct faculty and RUFF CUTS & FINE CUTS producer Tal S. Shamir’s “A New York Covid Story,” will screen at the New York Shorts International Film Festivals. “A New York Covid Story” is part of Dean Vlad Nikolic’s collaborative feature film titled “Everything that Will Happen Has Already Happened” (coming soon).

The film includes rare footage of the New York City COVID-19 lockdown; the film evokes the feeling, experience & atmosphere of one of the most dramatic moments of the beginning of the 21st century. As the COVID-19 storm hits the great city, the film shifts from shock, hollowness, hope, and fear of the future.
