Meet Jad-Évangelo Nasser, a proud graduate of the Media Studies Program (Public Engagement) ’18!
A TEDx speaker, filmmaker, and Global Inclusion & Cross-Cultural strategist, Jad is shaping the future of social justice, civic engagement, and DEI strategies across the globe. His award-winning film ONCE UPON A COLOR (now on Prime Video) was developed during his time at The New School, and he’s since been featured in top publications like The Black Wall Street Times, Ad Age, and Empower Atlanta.
Jad-Evangelo continues to lead as the co-chair of the LGBTQ Institute in Atlanta and was honored as the 2024 ADCOLOR Leader. His TEDx Talk, “Can Cultural Curiosity End Cultural Segregation?” explores how fostering cultural curiosity can break down barriers and promote cross-cultural connections.
