Inhabited Abstractions: Sophomore Fall Finals
Parsons Paris Sophomores Fashion Design students proudly presented their Fall projects in December. The project Inhabited abstractions, guided by teachers Alexandra Helminger and Justine Bossard. The project gave students the opportunity to learn through the designers, Balenciaga and Rei Kawakubo. These designers were chosen for their skills in construction and avant-guard designs. After learning their history and design practices, students then created concepts personalizing them and relating them to the contemporary. This took place throughout the Fall semester to then be presented to a jury including:
