A selected group of 15 Parsons Paris students was asked by Chelsfield Ltd. to come up with a design for the facade covering the Dolce & Gabbana boutique this summer at 54 Avenue Montagne in Paris. The design needed to merge Dolce & Gabbana’s colorful Sicilian style with the spirit of Paris. In communication with the Chelsfield team and Dolce Gabbana’s Creative Directors, the students developed a number of ideas and went through numerous critique sessions. The final submissions and winning projects are below!
The design that will be used for the facade is “Haussmannien Architecture” (last design pictured above). Base drawing by Ryuku Otsuka and Jenna Bickhardt and Digital vectorization by Nasia Chan.
After the competition closed, Chelsfield Ltd. hosted a celebration for all participating students to congratulate them for their great work.
