Evan Roth is printing all the images stored in his web cache – without establishing any kind of selection or hierarchy – since the birth of his second daughter.
Family photos, logos, screenshots and advertising banners accumulate and saturate the visual space around the viewer, creating a portrait of the twenty-first century that is both personal and universal.
Converting our online data into a narration created by technology, Roth enables us to see, physically, the huge quantity of images that we are in contact with.
