BFA Fashion Design Sophomore Intensive Sleeve Project
In March 2020, BFA Fashion Design Sophomore students have been experimenting with creative pattern cutting techniques applied to the design of sleeves that translate a personal approach to construction and space. Over only two classes and using just one meter of white tarlatan fabric, students explored with volume, form, cut and construction to create unique propositions around the body. The project was led by designer and Creative Technical Studio lecturer Justine Bossard. It involved the contribution of another lecturer, Lila Neutre, who teaches photography to assist the Sophomores in documenting their final outcomes.
