BFA Fashion Design New Elective: Collection Development

Fall 2021 has seen a new elective introduced to the Parsons Paris BFA Fashion Design curriculum. The course focuses on how the technique of draping can be used to create new and innovative garments, and how to develop those designs into a mature and cohesive fashion collection. This elective, offered to Senior year students is led by Miki Omori, a talented fashion designer and Parsons Paris faculty with years of experience working in Japan, the USA and France including designing for houses such as Lanvin and Balenciaga.
