RENEWCELL x PARSONS PARIS
BFA Fashion Design Juniors have begun a collaborative project with Renewcell, a Swedish textile recycling company making fashion more circular by dissolving used clothing and transforming it into a new biodegradable product. Renewcell and Parsons Paris students will co-develop an artistic initiative that aims to explore circular fashion as a holistic tool for a more sustainable and ethical future. By examining the issues created by a linear fashion system often characterised by overconsumption and excessive waste, students will be challenged to rethink their approach, to develop more sustainable garments, from design to production, to their ultimate consumption.Â
