Introducing the New Student Council

This year, Parsons Paris introduced a new format for its student council made up of three branches to fully represent Parsons Paris students. These branches are: 

• Student representative committee The SRC ensures representation of students to leadership and vice versa. 
• Student events board The Student Events Board creates and runs traditions on campus. They foster a feeling of community
• International student mentors ISMs offer peer to peer advice for students by providing social and cultural support. They foster a sense of belonging.

The committees meet independently twice a month and altogether with the dean of students monthly to plan activities and to discuss student concerns and think about how best to engage students.

Our 2023/24 council members are:

Anastasia Ryzhkova (SDM ‘26) and Zofia Plochocka (SDM’ 26) on the Student Events Board

Marianne Proops (SDM ‘24) and Maryam Daneshvar (AMT’24) on the Student Representative Committee

Ahmed Keshta (MFA ‘24) and Shreya Sagar (SDM ‘26) on the International Student Mentor Committee
