A Front-Row Seat to Elegance: Parsons Paris Students Invited to Experience Versace’s Fall-Winter 2023 Collection
At Parsons Paris, opportunities to dive into the world of fashion are boundless. Recently, a selected group of our talented students received an exclusive invitation that turned their fashion dreams into a reality. They had the honour of witnessing the grandeur of Versace’s Fall-Winter 2023 Collection firsthand, right at the iconic fashion house’s showroom.
STUDENT INSIGHT-
The colour palette of black & white and use of gold embellishments is consistent with the previous Versace collections. I personally love the use of gold safety pins and Versace logo golden components throughout the collection. The orange sweater with black coating on top caught my attention, the use of melted coating and the mix of material is very innovative for me.
The sincerest thanks for the invitation to the Versace showroom. It was an incredible experience for me to explore the Versace collection and its design language close up. The experience presented to me a new angle for Versace as a brand.

It was such an honour to attend the Versace event. I have never been to anything like this before, and it was truly an amazing experience. Paris and fashion are often synonymous to luxury, and this event was no different. You could feel the high-end ambiance of the brand and the store as soon as you stepped inside. We were greeted with champagne and invited to explore the collection at our leisure. As we sipped and sauntered around, it felt like, all of a sudden, we were immersed into a small piece of the world we’ve only been dreaming of, as if we were gaining a glimpse into the exclusive events of the ever coveted fashion industry. The collection was composed of some very beautiful pieces, including a sleek, hourglass leather blazer that I had the privilege to try on, if only I could have taken it home with me (lol). All in all, it was a glamorous event that introduced me first hand to the ways of networking, brand promotion, and client relations, within the fashion industry. And it was made all the more special by getting to enjoy it with my friends and classmates.
