I had the incredible privilege of interning with Stella McCartney’s PR team during Summer 2024 Paris Fashion Week, and the experience has been nothing short of extraordinary. This internship has not only deepened my passion for the fashion industry but also provided me with invaluable insights into the world of high-end fashion and event management.
I had the pleasure of assisting with guest seating, VIP guest registration, and coordinating with the photographers. Witnessing the meticulous planning of guest seating and ensuring VIP guests received special treatment was eye-opening. Coordinating with the camera team to capture the essence of Stella McCartney’s designs was both challenging and rewarding.
What stood out the most was Stella McCartney’s commitment to sustainability and ethical fashion. It was inspiring to see these principles integrated into every aspect of the brand’s operations.Introducing Stella’s Sustainable Market, a dynamic showcase featuring 22 stalls dedicated to vintage fashion and groundbreaking startups in material innovation. This innovative concept goes beyond the traditional fashion show by making the market the backdrop for the runway.
Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals who mentored and guided me was invaluable. I learned essential skills that I’ll carry throughout my career. It deepened my love for fashion, honed my organizational skills, and exposed me to the inner workings of an iconic brand. I’m grateful for Parsons Paris career team for helping me get this opportunity and look forward to applying the skills and knowledge gained in my future fashion endeavors!
