A: Intern
Q: How did you find out about this opportunity?
A: I found this internship opportunity through a teacher who sent an email out to the school. I immediately contacted ROLF ART for further information, providing them with additional application documents.
Q: Tell us about the interview process and the hiring experience.
A: Due to the event happening quickly, an interview was not necessary. I communicated with ROLF ART through email with assistance from Virginie, Hala, and Anthea. The process was quick, efficient, and a good opportunity to learn professional email communication. The hiring process was straightforward. I provided the required documents via email, and a few days later, I was accepted for the position.
Q: Tell us about your internship experience.
A: My internship lasted only one day for the Paris Photo 2023 event. The day started slow but picked up as I worked with the team, interacted with clients, and learned about the artist’s process. I worked alongside the artist and her team, along with another intern. While I could voice opinions, the focus was on interacting with clients. The team environment was welcoming and provided valuable insights into working under pressure.
Q: What sort of tasks were you responsible for during your internship?
A: I worked with clients, showcasing the artist’s process, inspiration, and pricing. Interaction involved discussing the artist’s artwork with interested individuals.
Q: What advice do you have for current and prospective students who have not had an internship yet?
A: Approach internships with enthusiasm, readiness to learn, and a willingness to work. Don’t be afraid to not know everything beforehand; hands-on experience is invaluable.
