Galette Party with Poilâne – Student Life

Rounding out our winter festivities was the Galette Party in January. This celebration of French tradition and culinary delight was in partnership with the renowned artisan Parisian Bakery, Poilâne. Students gathered in both campuses to indulge in slices of galette des rois, a delectable puff pastry filled with almond paste. As per tradition, there was a hidden charm – the ‘fève’ – which is normally tucked away inside the galette. However, the extra treat was discovering that Edward Mills (Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs, Academic Planning and Registration) had designed the fèves and everyone had one to take home!
