Careers Workshops – Mock Interviews
Every semester, the Careers department organizes mock interviews for our future graduates to practice their interview techniques in a ‘real life’ situation. At Parsons Paris, we are lucky to have strong engagement from our talented and hugely successful alumna. This semester, our guest interviewers were Azul Diaz (Parsons NY – Design & Applied Arts, 2016) Global Sustainability Manager at L’OrĂ©al, Paris, Sacsha Flowers Calixte (Parsons NY – Fashion Design, 2007) Creative Career Coach & Strategist, Amanda Augusto Castanho (Parsons Paris – Fashion Design, 2020) and Jillian Hobbs (Parsons NY – Graphic Design, 2012) Design Director and AI Artist.
Each session lasts for 20 minutes, is conducted over Zoom, and includes personalized feedback and support. Beforehand, our students send their CV and a description of the ‘ideal internship’ they would like to interview for. This gives our interviewers the chance to individually prepare for each interview with suitable questions tailored to the job and desired industry.
We are tremendously grateful to have such valuable and tailored guidance from our alumni! These sessions provide the perfect opportunity for our future graduates to practice all their hard work and preparation in a safe and non-judgmental environment!
